Our History
2000 In 28th April 2000, the Brazilian Federal Law 9.966 was sanctioned setting the essential security procedures for companies whose business involved handling oil and other hazardous chemical substances.
The law motivated strategic changes for companies, especially in concern to environmental practices. This same year, HidroClean was created to provide these potentially pollutant companies consulting services, training and, when necessary, emergency response actions. And to assure their practices are always in harmony with local environmental laws.
2001 The Conama Resolution 293/01, passed the following year, set that companies in Brazil were also responsible emergency prevention by establishing risk evaluation practices and setting an immediate response plan known as PEI (Individual Emergency Plan).
Today, Hidroclean relies on a team of more than 250 trained crewmembers, as well as its own fleet and about 60 workers with multidisciplinary formation. Anywhere in Brazil, on land or sea, HidroClean is ready to provide consulting, training and response actions for emergencies involving oil and other hazardous chemicals.
